A World Food Prize Foundation youth institute held at Purdue University in West Lafayette for students in grades 9 through 12. Students research a food security issue, write a paper under the supervision of a teacher or mentor, and present it while meeting local leaders and agriculture experts. There is no registration cost and meals are provided, and participants become Borlaug Scholars eligible for the Global Youth Institute and the Borlaug-Ruan internship.
