A six-week summer field and lab research program at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, New York. High school students work alongside undergraduate mentors, science teachers and Lamont scientists, using Piermont Marsh as the main field site, and present posters at an end-of-summer symposium. Students receive stipends. Applicants must be at least 16 at the start of the internship, and housing is not provided.
