A paid summer cancer research program at the University of Louisville's Brown Cancer Center for high school students in the Louisville and Jefferson County area. Students spend about two weeks on wet-lab work, including a drug discovery project, then seven weeks in a mentored lab for at least 30 hours a week, and present at a poster showcase. Applicants must be 16 and have taken an advanced science course. The stipend is $3,500.
