A nationwide high school visual art competition held each spring, in which students enter artwork through their own member of the U.S. House of Representatives and panels of district artists pick the winners. Each district's winning piece is displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol. Accepted media include painting, drawing, prints, collage, mixed media, digital art and photography, and each entry must be one student's original work. Each office sets its own deadline.
