Learning at the Bench (LAB) Jumpstart

A paid after-school and summer research program run by RockEDU at The Rockefeller University for New York City high school juniors and seniors interested in science. Students build molecular biology lab skills on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February to June, then do full-time summer research in the Summer Science Research Program. Applicants must be at least 16, each student is paired with a practicing scientist, and stipends are $500 for spring and $3,250 for summer.
