A two-part research program for New York City public high school students run by CUNY College Now at Lehman College. Students first take a spring high school credit course, DNA Detectives, then a six-week summer college credit course (BIO189, 1 credit) with placements in research labs with Lehman faculty and graduate students. Participants present at the AMNH August Symposium and receive a $750 stipend. Sophomores and juniors with an overall average of 80 or higher can apply.
