A free mentorship program from the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association for high school students interested in law and civil rights, named for Oregon's first African American federal judge. Each scholar is paired with an attorney mentor for a school year, including college essay help, courtroom visits and events on topics like juvenile justice and immigration. Students from under-served schools or underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply.
