A paid summer research internship at Johns Hopkins University where Baltimore City public high school students work in biophysics research labs on the Homewood Campus. Interns prepare reagents and materials for biophysical studies, then move into microbiology techniques and DNA and protein engineering, while taking coursework in scientific writing, data analysis, mathematics and bioethics. The program runs from early July to early August, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
