A nonprofit research program in Fremont, California, where students in grades 9 through 12 work with mentors from academia or industry to design original projects in fields such as chemistry, biomedical science, and computing. Students write research papers, go through mock peer review, publish in the ASDRP Communications journal, and present posters at an expo. Students outside the Bay Area may work remotely, and terms run in summer, fall, and spring.
