A paid six-week summer research program in the Duke Department of Cell Biology for Research Triangle-area high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who are at least 15. Each student completes an independent research project under the guidance of a graduate student or postdoctoral scholar and presents it at a scientific poster session. Students are on site for a normal work day, about 9 AM to 5 PM, and receive $2,400 on completion.
