A selective research internship at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory for Long Island high school students, who are nominated by their school's science chair during junior year and interviewed by lab scientists. Selected seniors spend at least 10 hours a week from September through March doing original research with a scientist mentor in cancer, neuroscience, genetics, plant biology, or quantitative biology labs. Students present their work at a symposium.
