Congress's award for young Americans, earned by setting goals and logging hours in four areas: voluntary public service, personal development, physical fitness, and expedition or exploration. Young people may register at 13 1/2, submit activities starting at 14, and must finish by their 24th birthday. Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels set different hour and month minimums, and every level requires goals in all four areas.
