A free biomedical research training program run by HYPOTHEkids for 11th and 12th graders at New York City public and charter high schools who face educational or economic disadvantage. Students complete 50 hours of Saturday training at Columbia University from April to July, then a six-week paid placement in a lab or health care setting at 25 hours per week. Interns present their research at a poster session, and no prior research experience is required.
