Free one-day institute where Alabama students in grades 9-12 present a research paper on a global food-security problem to local leaders and agriculture experts. Participants are named Borlaug Scholars and can be invited to the Global Youth Institute in Des Moines and to apply for the Borlaug-Ruan international internship.
