A free sports analytics competition run by the Wharton Sports Analytics and Business Initiative with Wharton Global Youth, open to high school students worldwide. Teams of 3-5 students from the same high school analyze a sports dataset, rank teams and predict outcomes, and the top teams present their work to judges over Zoom. Each team needs an advisor employed by the school or district, who registers the team. The 2027 edition uses American football data.
