One of the Tennessee Governor's Schools, hosted at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for rising 11th and 12th graders from across the state who are nominated by high school faculty and are considering teaching. Students spend most of June on campus studying the myths and realities of the education profession, effective teaching strategies, and observation and critique of teaching. They also gain practical experience, such as teaching younger children at a camp.
