A three-week residential summer academy at the University of Pennsylvania where high school students study the biology of the brain, from neurons and sensory systems to memory and emotion. Students attend twice-daily lectures with Penn neuroscience faculty, join a journal club and a neuroethics club, and do lab work. It runs from July into August, and School District of Philadelphia students may be able to attend free with a scholarship.
