A paid nine-week research internship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, started in 2010 to build a pipeline of minority students into STEM careers. High school seniors and college freshmen from Greater Cincinnati work full time as research assistants guided by faculty mentors. The program also includes weekly networking and diversity luncheons, shadowing of minority faculty, and workshops on scientific writing and research ethics.
