A free six-week summer research program at the UC Irvine Cancer Research Institute for Orange County high school students, described as serving rising seniors. Each fellow works in a different UCI lab under a mentor for about 30 hours a week, typically Monday through Friday, and attends seminars and professional development workshops. The program ends with a poster symposium, and about 20 students are accepted each year.
