A three-year biomedical research program at UT Health San Antonio for San Antonio-area high school students that begins with a seven-week summer research intensive on campus. Scholars learn lab skills, medical terminology and how to read research articles, then do faculty-mentored research in later summers and join activities during the school year. Scholars receive stipends and transportation help. Applicants are nominated by their schools and must be rising sophomores.
