A residential summer program at the Ohio Supercomputer Center, now called the STEM Institute, for Ohio high school students currently in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. Working in small teams, students use the center's supercomputers to solve science and engineering problems, practice network forensics, study bird flu, and design computer games. Students live in Ohio State dorms in Columbus in June, and the center covers half the program cost.
