A youth innovation contest from Project Paradigm, a Los Angeles-based sponsor, for students ages 4 to 18, with a 14-18 division, in which teams design solutions to real-world problems. Each age division awards $10,000 for first place, $2,000 for second and $1,000 for third, and one first-place team is named Grand Prize winner and splits $100,000. The top 100 entries receive cash, and new challenge projects come out every two years.
