A New York City Bar Association program that places New York City public high school students in paid summer jobs at law firms, corporations, nonprofits and government offices. Students first complete three mandatory pre-employment workshops, then work 35 to 40 hours a week for 6 to 8 weeks. Applicants from the five boroughs submit a resume, transcript, recommendation letter, working papers and two personal essays, followed by an interview.
