Students present research on the year’s theme as a paper, exhibit, performance, documentary or website. Grades 9-12 compete in the Senior Division, and state winners go to the national contest. State registration runs 6 March to 12 April 2027, taking the winners of five regional contests; the contest is on 24 April.
