Students present research on the year’s theme as a paper, exhibit, performance, documentary or website. Grades 9-12 compete in the Senior Division, and state winners go to the national contest. Iowa's state contest is at the Scheman Building in Ames on 26 April 2027; the entry fee is $20 a student.
