Students present research on the year’s theme as a paper, exhibit, performance, documentary or website. Grades 9-12 compete in the Senior Division, and state winners go to the national contest. The Alabama state contest is on 1 April 2027; registration runs from 2 November 2026 to 6 March 2027.
