An underwater robotics competition from the Marine Advanced Technology Education Center in which student teams build remotely operated vehicles to complete mission tasks modeled on ocean industry work. Teams enter classes by age and experience, from SCOUT for beginners through NAVIGATOR and RANGER to EXPLORER for experienced high school and college teams. Regional events lead to a world championship, which drew 86 student teams in 2026.
