International Chemistry Olympiad

World championship in chemistry, drawing several hundred students from around 80 countries each July. US students cannot enter directly: the four-person national team is chosen through the US National Chemistry Olympiad, which runs local exams in March, a national exam in April and a two-week study camp in June.
