A four-week summer pre-college program at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences for DC-area high school students interested in health careers. Each year, sixteen rising 11th and 12th graders from public and public charter schools in DC, Maryland and Virginia explore health professions, practice clinical skills such as drawing blood and intubation, and complete a public health project. Scholars also get college application guidance and can later shadow professionals at GW Hospital.
