A merit-based college scholarship run by Fisher House Foundation with the Defense Commissary Agency for children of active-duty, reserve/guard, retired and deceased U.S. service members. Each year 500 scholarships of $2,000 are awarded, with at least one recipient at every commissary location that receives qualified applications. Applicants must be unmarried dependents under age 23, high school applicants need a 3.0 GPA, and the application includes a 500-word essay.
