A six-week paid summer research internship for young women run by Boston University's LERNet. Students work in a BU biology or chemistry lab with a graduate student or faculty mentor, attend seminars, visit a local biotech or pharmaceutical company, and present a research poster. Lab work runs weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in July and August, with a stipend of up to $2,000. Applicants must be juniors at a Massachusetts school, live within 30 miles of Boston and be at least 16.
