A free, four-week summer program run by the BESt Healthcare Institute on WashU's Danforth Campus in St. Louis for aspiring healthcare workers. Students take math, science and ACT/SAT prep, learn about healthcare through lectures and site visits, and build leadership skills. It is open to St. Louis-area freshmen, sophomores and juniors with a GPA of at least 3.0, attendance is required all four weeks, and stipends reach up to $400 or $500 by level.
